“A regular person, called by God to change the world.”
Austin roots
The man
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Bishop Bright was raised in a Christian home by his grandparents, who made sure he was always actively involved in church. Their love inspired him to strive for greatness.
He describes himself simply: "I would describe myself as a regular person, called by God to change the world. Let's just say, 'I love God.'"
Since 1988
The ministry
Bishop Bright accepted his call into ministry in 1988. His peers regard him as prolific, practical and scholarly in his approach to ministering God's Word to groups young and old.
In 2011 he launched the Kingdom Leadership and Training Institute (KLTI) to provide strategic consulting to pastors and churches in leadership, management and ministry training. Through KLTI he has traveled the country, making a significant impact in developing leaders.
His calling
The mandate
Bishop Bright recognizes his assignment from God as changing the world. He believes his voice has been anointed to speak to the dry bones, as Ezekiel did, so that they might live.
In 2004 he was set apart and consecrated to the holy office of Bishop. He embraces the principle of Revelation 1:6: that believers can operate as kings in the natural realm and priests in the spiritual realm.
"And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father."
